A Bit About Grace
Grace Ovba is the founder of Freedom4betterlife Ltd and a survivor of domestic and narcissistic abuse. A devoted mother, she single-handedly raised her four children over 18 years—two of whom are now postgraduates, and two undergraduates. Through her own healing journey, Grace has rediscovered herself using psychotherapy, forgiveness, and compassionate support systems. These holistic approaches now form the foundation of her work as she helps others—particularly women—rebuild their lives after domestic abuse, toxic relationships, and trauma.
She is deeply committed to the belief that therapeutic, faith and restorative practices can transform lives. Guided by this conviction, she dedicates her mission to helping individuals heal, regain self-worth, and create healthier relationships with themselves and others.Grace is also the founder and host of the podcast Rising Above Shadows of Abuse, which not only raises awareness of the signs of abuse but also supports listeners in developing emotional resilience, self-awareness, and healthy relational patterns.
Her vision is to build a global platform where women who have experienced trauma are empowered, restored, and able to live with dignity, purpose, and confidence. She is committed to creating a compassionate community where survivors are no longer defined by their past but are celebrated for their resilience, strength, and renewal. Through Freedom4betterlife, Grace provides holistic support, safe spaces, and transformative resources that honour each individual’s healing journey. Grounded in integrity, respect, justice, love, compassion, and forgiveness, she strives to foster trust-based relationships that help people reclaim their voice and step fully into their potential.
